Animal Kingdom Come!
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven...Wait and stop the Catholic guilt from invading this PhotoBlog!
My family broke the trifecta of Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios in Orlando by going to Disney's Animal Kingdom. We would go the "Busch Gardens like theme park" more often but the Orlando theme park closes its doors very early compared to its big brothers. Big in a literal and physical sense. Animal Kingdom is a very small theme park. I do not know if corporate did this intentionally to save money and maximize profits but the park is definitely tiny.
Show me the animals! This unnamed bird and about two other mammals were the highlight of the trip. We rode the Safari truck ride through their "wilderness" and I was dissapointed in the wildlife turnout. I think the animals were on a religious sabbatical for Lent. Stop! yet again, another catholic reference.
Here is the physical proof the park closes way to early. I shot this pic when the park was closing and it is still daylight. The park was not a waste of time though, we went to the only highlights of the park. Nemo The Musical and The Lion King theatrical show were fantastic.
Check out the still pictures here.
